*Health Insurances Limiting Care

Most health insurances allot a set number of Chiropractic visits per year, but you may not be allowed to have this benefit.

There is a trend in some companies to outsource Physical Medicine to another company (Optum, American Specialty Health). Their job is to limit expenditures for the Health Carrier. For example, you may be given 20 visits per year under your policy, but they will only allow 5. This is limiting your health benefits that you pay for and is unfortunate. In these circumstances, an affordable cash plan will be worked out with Align Spine Chiropractic & Wellness when they limit your benefits.

**Medicare

General spinal and extremity pain can be a great masquerader of another, underlying condition. It is crucial to perform a thorough examination to determine this cause.

Medicare will not pay for this essential examination. Medicare patients will have to pay a one-time, initial fee for this service. Medicare will also not pay for anything besides a spinal adjustment. There may also be a small fee for other modalities in the office (i.e. electrical stimulation, etc) if they are deemed necessary. Medicare also has an annual deductible that a member's secondary insurance will not cover. The patient will be responsible for covering this deductible.

No Insurance or No Chiropractic Benefits

If you have no insurance or do not have Chiropractic benefits, there is still a way for you to receive the care you need. Flexible payment programs can be arranged or discounted per visit pricing is available for these circumstances. Many patients pay directly for care, as they discover Chiropractic to be extremely cost-effective and affordable. These patients realize that a small amount of their time and money to care for their most important asset--their health--will be far less time consuming and expensive than trying to recover it. As the old saying goes, if you don't have your health, you don't have anything. Unfortunately, too many people don't discover how true that statement is until it is too late.
